Run the brake hose through the frame starting at the head tube, and before installing the derailleur cable (if it's wired). If you try to run it through the other direction you will likely get hung up.

Yep, I was able to get the line through! It's pretty stiff especially around the bottom bracket it wasn't super easy. And the bend at the rear brake - I wish I'd given myself maybe another half an inch of hose length.It's tight. Run the brake hose through the frame starting at the head tube, and before installing the derailleur cable (if it's wired). If you try to run it through the other direction you will likely get hung up.

yea I've have seen the cascade link there but it really isn't for me, its too expensive and it won't allow me to run a mullet setup on my bike, I feel like Specialized has taken some great input from cascade and fixed issues with previous Stumpy evo models so they are on the right track with this new version in my opinion.

Take a look at the cascade link from Cascade Components it achieves a similar top and mid stroke plushness with more bottom out resistance. And it adds 7mm of travel to the rear end!

The Zeb has been an amazing upgrade from the 36. I don't think it's too much fork for the bike considering what I normally ride which is PNW steep, rooty, droppy terrain. I've set the head angle to slack mode and the fork just eats up everything and inspires tons of confidence. It's heavier than the 36 for sure and that is noticeable on the uphill grind but it's well worth the tradeoff in downhill performance. If you are planning to ride your evo mostly in steep mode I would definitely not go with the Zeb but if you are...

It performs as advertised, more plush at the top and middle of the stroke with a very supportive ramp at the bottom. The ZEB up front inspires hard charging and the DPX2 is a bit overmatched for that type of riding. The Cascade Link really helps to level the playing field. At the same time the DPX2 and rear geo make the bike pretty poppy and the Cascade Link does dampen some of that but overall it's an upgrade worth making IMO.

It's not bling but I chose it because it's bomber especially when the BB is in low setting and pedal and crank strikes are more frequent.

Thanks mate! Did them in house as we do mostly ti ano finishes at work (www.22bicycles.com). I'd say look at Titanium Finishing in PA for some sweet work on your eeWings.
