Shuld add that i did ride the 485 with a 40mm stem for 1-2 months too, but it feelt to short. With the 50mm i was back at my preferd position and could attack more relaxed.

I like mine more at 485 and a 50mm stem then when i was on the 505 with 40mm stem, been racing for close to 20 years now and was already alot over the front to gett proper gripp. I liked the position on the bike with the long reatch, but the long front and wheelbase made it to stable at times. Thats why i went to the shorter one but needed a longer stem to put me in the rigth place. Think i had to rool my bars forward a bitt to so i gess im in the same...

A trick when shifting upphill, is to backpedal just a bitt or time the shifting to when you have to stopp pedaling coz of pedalstrikes.. Or just give a harder halfstroke to gett extra momentum so you can stopp pedaling for the 0.1 sek it takes to shift

4/8/2018 9:49am Maybe take your girl to some race or just buy her a bike and build jumps and stuff together? Ther is alot of kids racing in BMX and XC + you gett to train and spend time with her at the same time! You learn alot trying to explain and teatch things. 6 years old is a good time to...
