Additional Info | Like many, I can't afford an S-works Enduro...so I fully rebuilt my '07 Enduro Comp and sort of named it after myself ... "G-Works"! I stripped the frame and dropped it off at VéloColour in Toronto for the custom paint, along with custom decals that I ordered from Decal Driveway. VéloColour stripped the old paint, smoothed out the surfaces, applied two coats of yellow and three coats of clear over top of the decals. The decal areas were sanded down between clear coats in order for them to be flush. The paint job is immaculate! I hand-built the wheels. I used a 2 cross pattern for the front because it was hard to find the right length spokes for a 650b 3 cross build. I installed Enduro bearings for the entire rear suspension. I had to purchase a blind bearing puller for the rear chainstay dual bearings (luckily found a cheaper used one). The bottom bracket height is currently less than 1cm higher than the original stock Enduro in the high fork setting (dual crown). |

The downtube uses the factory cable clips. For the dropper post cable on the top tube, I used adhesive backed base mounts for electrical wiring.
The 650b front wheel feels great. I noticed an improvement in cornering stability and how the bike carries momentum in rough downhill sections.
