Well, i think a dropper post and a big 10-52t cassette will add quite amount of weight. This will probably equalise the weight of the Boxxer. The Onyx hubs are a bit on the heavier side, so this is were you might got the weight difference from.

Dh bikes are normally lighter then trail bikes. Dont sweat it. Heh or i guess keep sweating ;p But my setup is the same, ALU DH bike is much lighter then my ALU "trail" bike.
