From what I've read it sounds like it was Martin's idea, the rest of the team were on the fury. I wonder if he thought he would be more comfortable on the enduro bike as he probably hasn't ridden his DH bike since last season.

the force uses a 230mmx65mm shock which is the longest you can get, so must be a standard shock, probably impossible to overstroke it after some research. Doesn't look to be a lot of clearance in the front triangle either

I think they must be overstroking, or running a different linkagez similar to what Norco are doing with the range. I think we will see a lot more of this, where enduro and DH bikes use the same frame but different length shocks etc, the geometry is pretty similar, and it cuts the development costs on the DH bike. Or...

Someone needs to give a red hat and a bottle of orange spray tan to Brian Park, because he wants to BUILD THE PAYWALL!

I've just gone from a slack seat tube, and averagish reach, (73 deg seat tube, 440mm reach, and 610mm top tube) to a long reach, steep seat tube bike (80 deg seat tube, 470mm reach and 580mm top tube) and it's so much better for climbing, the steeper seat tube has bought my weight further forwards so I no longer...

I have short legs, around 29" inseam, and struggle with some seat tube lengths. I've got a 180mm Oneup pretty much all the way in with a 420mm seat tube. Some brands have a 440mm on their Medium frames (looking at you Propain and GT)

I think most brands reach measurements are now in the right kind of place. 460ish for a M, 480ish for a L and 500ish for an XL, with 10mm each way or so. I'm 174cm and have a M with 470mm of reach and I think that's about right. With 440mm chainstays I wouldn't want to go any bigger

I did consider getting one but some of the reviews put me off saying it's unbalanced and more of a play/jib bike when I wanted more of an enduro bike. Also seen a few people complain that it's terrible at pedaling, maybe low anti-squat, I'm not really sure. Still is a lot of bike for the money
