I've recently ridden a Nomad 26", Tallboy LT 29" and Cube Stereo 27.5". I enjoyed all bikes on trails, singletracks and trials, and I think all are good bikes to have fun, because "to have fun" is not a bike, is an actitude. Today all brands have really effective bikes in all kind of wheels. I think we have just to select the one we think is better, and stop judging

False, I would not marry that wagon-wheeled broad. 29ers simply do not work on the trails I enjoy the most. Well... they work... but its not fun or pretty..

Sometimes "thinking" something is better doesn't mean it is. There are multiple trail systems within a half hour of my house that literally no one could ride on a 29er and not be walking half the time. Also, I am not speculating, I am basing this statement off of the fact that I rode a 29er on a few of the trail systems and it was completely unmanageable on really technical terrain. No matter how many times I tried I could not clear sections that are a breeze on my 26 slayer.

Well, I dont know where you ride, but that bikes works great in technical trails, steep, with roots, mud, slow sections,... I said that because you wrote it like a veredict and people have to say that in other places it's not true. Possibly in a really really technical trail a 26" is betther than a 27.5 or 29, but this is only a particular case. Of course, I know some trails where possibly I can't corner or it could be very difficult with a 29... In high-speed trials with roots and Little drops I fulminate my own chronos of 26" with a 29"
