I think as the fabricator, my need is for frank to produce high quality frames. The business acumen of companies he has worked for before, I would feel is out of his remit. For clarity, what is your interest in this discussion, has he let you down? So many companies fall behind in this industry. It’s incredibly tough, the competition with offshore power house manufacture is challenging. Whilst it’s easy to critique, unless you are actively involved in the industry, or bring a solution to the problems you observe. You add to the problems, not diminish them. Do you want...

Thats not how rebranding works, but you are right, apart from its being a different material, geometry, suspension curve, size wheel, and made entirely from a different drawing. Absolutley identical.

Hey Mate, i realise this is all part of a discussion regarding US setup and production, but what would the deal be to get one of these weapons in Australia?

Hell ya Jordan these fucking keyboard racers always think they know everything about the industry because all they do is read these threads. I only read this thread because I thought the bike was absolutely "SICK"! Looking forward to seeing you get the US market going and driving revenue into a small town in Vermont USA.

Hey, I can say without a shadow of a doubt it won’t be a standard anytime soon. I can see the OEM orders for a lot of major vendors forward in to about 2020 and it’s not there - do I think we need a larger seatpost standard? Absolutely. Am I gambling my customers money with it? No.

If its not in the USA or the EU, I think the simplest thing to do is cost up where its cheapest to ship from (gut feeling, UK) - Refund the VAT to you and mark it Zero Rated VAT then you'll have to pay an import tax charge but as likely its either 10% (less than our VAT or I think if its under the threshold, you dont pay anything)

Hey, I dont get asked about kinematics much apart from suspension tuners wanting the shim stacks. We always leave alot of room for tyre clearance as our country is incredibly wet, our mund very sticky. However there is no tyre standard I have a 2.35 from one brand that is bigger than a 2.8" tyre from another brand here. Its surprisingly frustrating.

Frank the Welder is an amazing welder/fabricator. If I was in the market for a bike, this would be on the list. Kudos for the fun name.
