2/9/2011 1:54pm I ride clips for everything now....have spent heaps of time on both but these days I only realy do trails and XC and the clips give me more confidence on the techie stuff because I keep my feet up and ride smoother. I used to ride flats on a DH bike but would probably run clips if I went back...

5/19/2010 12:26pm None of them were really heavy, they're all light-to-average, but then these guys know there are way more important things to a DH bike than weight! I think that was the point of the video, to show that a top DH bike isn't supposed to be ridiculously light

8/22/2009 3:55pm Shims provide damping in suspension by covering up a valve so theonlyway for oil to get through is by bending the shims open. The more shims you have, the harder it is for the oil to flow, ie making your forks firmer or rebound slower. good diagrams here http://www.mxboards.com/forums/viewtopic.php?t=23 And no, your 888 doesn't have them but the 2010 ones...
