Mucky and tricky in sections, the Leogang World Cup track gets sampled for the first time by the riders in 2013.

Truly a day for for the history books. World Cup finals from Leogang finished in dramatic fashion with Stevie Smith earning the race win and the World Cup overall win.

The first in a series of mini episodes of riding in and around Sheffield. From Downhill to DJ and even some X.C we'll hopefully be keeping the content original throughout the year. First up, a downhill trail located just south of the city. Originally built by Gee Hallam who's now moved overseas, we see Jack Reading, Rob Stokes, James Swinden and Jolley hitting it up. Carnage. Banter. Just like Downhill racing should be.... A.e forest hosted the Student Championships this weekend. A new track which will be later used for a national round later on in the year. Bails towards the end... Enjoy...

So Episode 3 took a while, Jack had world cups/exams, Joe had work and Rob had secret 'training' in Hull, which didn't leave many wekeends free... Just a blast around a few local spots, finishing off with the new and improved pumptrack. This vid doesn't do it justice really, so expect some more footage soon... Apologies for some of the shoddy editing/cuts, my computer is old and the new editing software wasn't happening, so reverted to the old stuff.... Alongside the Megavalanche each year, the Sprint Downhill race descends on one of the gnarliest track in the area, into the little village of Oz en Oisans. A big world cup atmosphere was humming around, with the likes of Kovarik, Cam cole, Matti, Hart and many more. Kovarik smahes the first 2 runs taking the win by some 4 seconds, but in the Super final (top 50 went through) Cole took it. www.ThisiSheffield.co.uk

Episode 4, is all about Wharncliffe. The Sheffield scene has seen a serious boom lately, with night time dual races, new tracks and even some plans in the pipeline from the council. There's a few new trails cropping up in the woods these days. Gone are the old akward and tight routes, replaced by speed and flow, just a shame there isn't an uplift! Hope you enjoy it! After the Mega in Alpe d'huez we set off on a bit of a mission, digging out some of the more 'quiet' French alpine resorts, whilst clocking in some miles at some of the old classics aswell. Super dry and dusty everywhere meant pushing up and filming was a sweaty task, but Rob busted a nut and we squeezed out some great shots. This footage should of been released a while back, but on returning to the U.K Joe lost it during upload.... or at least he thought he did. So here is the short but sweet Winter/Summer special, enjoy...

Go-pros seem to be the must have toy for any biker this year...... Every rider from Essex to Glencoe seems to have one dangling from their chest. No suprise though as these things are amazing, hang em off your wrist,helmet, gooch, anything.... Plenty more to come from this camera i think!
