iceman2058 Added a comment about video 2011 Vital MTB Shreddy Awards - RIDER OF THE YEAR

OK c'mon now. Who played Aaron in the closing sequence??? :-) Oh and to close out the year in style, I think Vital should get a Shreddy for the "Best MTB Awards Series of 2011"....for.... "the Shreddies"!!!

Now, guessing the RIDER of the year, that's a different story....and it would have to depend on the discipline etc...I wouldn't know where to start even. Semenuk for winning the FMB tour and Crankworx slopestyle (finally), Aaron for the 5 WC wins and the overall?

That was by far the easiest one to pick, for sure. It was over before it began.

Nice shirt Kyle. Taylor, you call yourself a life pro? Cam monster flips, and you won't even commit to an aperture? WHUSS!!! :-) :-)

Johnny, I never said you couldn't, I was just referring to big-S's notorious disapproval of people getting too rowdy on their non-gravity specific line up (then promptly countered by them running an ad with Brendog hucking a crazy gap on his Enduro....you figure it out...
). The Evo line looks absolute killer for sure, if I could have more than 1 bike, it would be on a very short list of "all-mountain" candidates.

Can't think of anyone more deserving than Akrigg for this award, after all the work he puts into webedits, it's only fitting. + he's such an amazing and fun rider to watch. Nice job Vic on the video too!

12/27/2011 12:27pm I'm sure whatever edit it is for, they're not gonna just give it up like that. They'll milk this one (deservedly). Like when you run home after the ride, quick dump off the GoPro and Youtube it "cuz Barry and James wanna see the shots"....not... :-)

HA! Pros have un unfair advantage over us mortals - they get to shoot superstars shredding out of focus. When I ride out of focus, it just sucks even more.

12/23/2011 1:30pm With the Athertons and Animal now parting ways...could they be headed to O'Neal, what with their "mystery rider" competition that looks like Greg a bit but could also be Gee or Dan...? http://dirt.mpora.com/news/competition-oneal-sign-world-cup-downhill-st… That would have to mean Enve rims on the GTs if that was the case...
