I was under the impression that the tracks were getting - inverted comma- easier -inverted comma- because that's what redbull media was asking for in order to give the live broadcasts more track coverage as well as making it easier for the camera guys and all their gear. I think people are placing the blame in the wrong place. The 29er may be the product of the straighter tracks but the straighter tracks are the product of the redbull recommendations.

I do see the irony of my complaining about the complainers. However, I do think they could act a little more grown up about the situation. And there were many more than the one comment you saw. As I mentioned in the ridiculously whiny paragraphs other riders have had to deal with similar situations and they managed to handle it...

I think it climbs better than the previous model. The steeper seat tube definitely helps with the front wheel lift on the steeper climbs. The range of the Eagle cassette helps a lot too.

This is an old video of one of my favorite trails: Hidden Valley, in Mccall ID. I only had one helmet cam so I had to splice two separate runs together but I think it turned out alright.
