About Me

I am a 17 year old Canadian from Edmonton Alberta (12 hours from Whistler). I have done a bit of cross country and dh racing but freeride/dh is my favorite. This year I am starting to get into the dirt jump side of things as well, so I am stoked to see how that progresses. Another dicipline I have always wanted to take part in includes trials which I am very excited to begin as well this year. I also ride for Juventus cycling club, however it is not very mountain bike oriented, more road biking and track cycling.

hmmm...Im happy theres a mtb movie coming out, but that trailer wasn't very good. It seemed as if it was skateboarding by the amount of skateboard stickers they were focused in on.

It sounds like you would want a dirt jump bike, which costs quite a bit more than bmx (I also ride bmx). For a complete here in canada the cheapest is a $1000. An example of common dj bikes would be http://www.specialized.com/us/en/bc/SBCBkModel.jsp?sid=10P.Bikes&eid=4348&menuItemId=9252

I love it when they have a bunch of riding diciplines with one bike, one second there shredding the trails, then riding the cement, and off to the dirt jumps. sweet video
