1997 GT LTS-1. I once bought one, but it turned out to be scam, as the bike was in horrid condition. I used it for spares. Saved me an STS-DH with a bad rear end. Mx

Youd probably be better off with a newer hard tail if your looking to keep it inexpensive. Something using more current parts so its easier to find replacements if you ever need. I went the cheap full sus route once and it didnt go as planned. The rear suspension sucked anyway.

It does need some love but I think over all it was a good deal . I don't mind putting some money into it to get it all tuned up . Right now the chain seems a little stiff and the rear shock is kinda squishy.

It looks like a late 90's GT LTS repainted, shocks looks like a rock shox. Usualy on these old bikes, the harder is to find parts for shocks or to get it rebuild.. The other parts are not stock but a mis match somewhat more ore less era correct. Is it worth $75, it depends how much you value nostalgia or just having a bike to cruise around. As much as I love old bikes, they are awful to ride is you compare them with anything recent..
