Perhaps, but it is really nice to be able to just go into a shop and buy a UDH when it gets damaged rather than having to order frame specific hanger.

Would love to see the xpedo trident pedals make this list someday! My thoughts on them: lightweight, reliable and thin as fark. Love the feel of mine and can't really complain. Two years in, no major maintenance except for a re-grease and they've been solid. Love the profile and dimensions for my smaller (9-9.5) feet. They're so thin that I find I strike the ground and rocks with the end of my crank arm because its somehow lower than my pedal lol. I'll rebuild them this year and if they die replace them with the same. Other pedals tried: raceface...

Been running them for about 6 months and so far they've been great. The right pedal spindle cap gets a little loose but just retighten every so often. Couldn't find pins on their website and they sent over a bunch for free. The narrower pins also dig in making Giro Latch shoes I'd given up on after using them with Stamp 7s and DMR Vaults actually grippy. Very happy with them so far.
