ErikFleming Added a comment about product review Blur TR Carbon (2013)

I had one more comment. You commented that you had trouble using all the travel on the TRc, but in multiple pictures in this post, the travel indicator is at the end of the stroke on the rear shock. I'm sure you know that there is about a quarter inch of shock shaft that isn't usable at the end. I ask about this because I have zero problem using all of the travel on my '13 TRc, so I am a little confused by this.

Just so you know, the TRc with a Lyrik lowered to 130mm, gives it a head angle just above 67 degrees. the 68 degree head angle is based on an A2C of 501mm. I'm sure of this because before going back to the stock fork, I ran a Lyrik on my 2013 TRc set at 140, then at 130. The 519mm A2C you mention is Santa Cruz's recommended max. So you were riding with something like a 67.3 degree head angle the entire time.

Thankfully I'm not really one to concern myself with the rumor mill and e-spec too much, at least not without looking deeper into the product being speculated about before forming my own opinion. Nevertheless, everything I had discussed and heard from trusted, respected riding buds and others regarding the Santa Cruz Blur 4x left me very intrigued to throw...
