Rear Shock
Cane Creek
DB Kitsuma Air
Initially stiff, I ran the shock all the way open on all four settings. The shock started loosening up, and I added compression and rebound dampening back into the shock.

It’s heavy but worth the weight gain because of the excellent control and supple-ness.

Handlebar
OneUp Components
Carbon 35mm rise
Initially, I installed the PNW carbon 38mm rise handlebar. However, the extra sweep of the PNWs combined with the cozy cockpit of the Tilt is no bueno. The PNW handlebar found a home on my Stanton Sedona, which is an inch longer in the top tube length.

Bottom Bracket

Angular Contact 30mm
Expensive, but I have had no problems. I can’t say that about RF 30mm bottom brackets. I never ever had any problems with 24mm spindles, so why even bother with a 30mm (or a 28.99mm) spindle? Unfortunately, the coolest cranks are 30mm.

Additional Info

At 33.5 pounds, it’s heavy, but it rides light regardless of tire choices.  Before the Ground Controls, I had a Maxxis setup (DHR2-Aggressor) and Continental gravity tires (Kryptotal-Xynotal).  The suspension is amazing on the climbs, seated and standing, and plush on the descents.  The Cane Creek Helm fork is awesome!  It's noticeably heavier in my hands than the Marzocchi Z2 and Fox Factory 34, but it has a calmness and plushness that makes it worth the weight penalty.  I bought a frame-fork-wheelset bundle.  Obviously, I used the frame and fork.  The E13 Enduro wheelset is fine and may see use some day, maybe on another build.  But I am a fan of the Nukeproof Horizon V2 wheelset.  I have two, both purchased through Chain Reaction before they went belly-up.
