I have a carbon sentinel v1 with a cc link and a factory 205x57.5 x2 shock. Tried the x2 on the standard linkage and was struggling to not blow through the travel. Put the cc link on and the bike now feels amazing. I really love the sentinel but the dpx2 is a really a bad shock for the bike. Just putting cc link on won’t give you completely what your after on the sentinel and I think the shock needs changing as well. That’s why I think john wasn’t blown away with it. Just come back from a ride and blown away how good the link is. The small bump is fantastic and it pedals so much better. Very happy and felt better with 18mm sag

Yes rode it the other day but the trail was slippy and wasn’t really a fair test. I was running more pressure but the small bump was better than the stock link. Also more support in the middle and ramped up really nice at the end. Had mine set with 17mm sag which cascade say is 30%. It felt a little high in the travel when cornering and have set it at 18mm. Yet to ride it yet so will see how it goes. Love the bike though and the x2 was a huge improvement Hopefully the cascade will give...

Got mine on now and just wondered what sag your running? Tried at 17mm but felt a bit high in the travel so going to try 18mm next.

Nice bike. 👍 I have virtually the same bike and have just put the cascade link on with an x2. Just wondered roughly what sag your running with it?

Hi. I have a 2015 smuggler with 140mm forks and I love it. I was wondering if putting the -1degree headset in, effected the cornering? I’m Just after it being a bit slacker for faster descending but don’t want to ruin the cornering. Thanks
