Very true, but the likes of Sam Hill, Gee Atherton, Rachel Atherton and Brendan Fairclough were doing the same years ago when there was no junior category apart from world's. Sam would have had fastest world champs time in '02 (while a junior) if he hadn't had a massive OTB, had 4th fastest even with the crash. So don't think that bike parks and good kids bikes is the reason, although certainly helps! Really cool to see the new generations coming through though. The talent pool is so deep now it's harder than ever to get those top times. Erice...

1/15/2024 9:15am Not sure why everyone is reading "fish out of water" as a fisherman... A fish out of water is a saying meaning someone who is out of place, has nothing to do with fishing. No idea who it it's talking about, but I do wonder if people have gone a bit too far down the fisherman path
