Christo Gallagher is a 18 year old rider from Edinburgh, Scotland. After several shoulder dislocations, he finally had surgery completed four months ago. We caught up with him for a couple of days shooting for a short promo. A perfect day at the trails in Braefoot was matched with two equally as horrible days at Innerleithen. First it was fog, heavy cloud and the lack of sunshine, then it was the typical Scottish winter with heavy rain, cold temperatures and surprisingly strong winds. After three solid weeks of rain, I took the first available opportunity to get out with Calum McRitchie to test out my new camera and some of its functions. Therefore, this is purely a test video, but I still took the same approach to shooting it as I normally would. I didn't have any custom profiles for this shoot and hadn't even tested or chosen any of the gamma functions, so I have no doubt the image quality can be improved even more. Fort William was the first stop in the UCI DHI World Cup series for 2013, and year after year the crowds never fail to flock to the remote Nevis Range in their masses. Over the past years, there has been an increasingly large media presence on the World Cup circuit and output seems to have become melted into one with almost everyone doing something reasonably similar.
