CORRECTION: That's not Adam Craig in the picture. That's Manuel Beastley. "ManBeast" came down from the Yukon to compete in the Sea Otter. He rode every offroad event on that Mongoose Fat Bike. I had a few drinks with him on Friday night. We shut down Mortimers. Manuel is a real old-school hero. He rides hard and parties even harder. Funny, he does look a lot like Adam Craig in this image.

As ridiculous as this seems, I bet it's a lot of fun. I'd love to see the outtakes from this video! Guaranteed that there's steep learning curve involved!

Is the Trans-Provence a real race? I get the impression that it's just a PR event. Am I the only one that thinks it's sort of strange? 56 riders? You have to register in December and you only get in if you're selected? I wonder if they have plans to grow? What am I missing? Don't get me wrong, I'm sure it's tons of fun...
