Yes, chinq makes a shifter conversion with two individual levers and instinctiv.bike has a own lever (but not selling it separately). Thing with the lever is that you can only shift two gears at once. Rumors are going on that Pinion could release a electronic/wireless shifter later this year.

Hey, not 100% sure what you mean about "weight of the pinion". The complete bike is about 1kg heavier than my old bike but I dont think that makes a difference. The gearbox itself weights around 2300g. What you really can feel is that the weight is more centered when you jump and the suspension performance is amazing. The most thing I love of the bike till now is the silence. With onyx hub and Belt drive you can drop to flat with only hearing the suspension work. For the gripshift I´m still not sure. I think the ergonomics are...
