I wouldn't call them manicured jumps or berms. I realize they don't have as good of dirt as parts of keystone or angelfire... but if you want manicured jumps, and berms... keystone and angelfire are a lot better. No... keystone can't compete with rainmaker right now... but the jumps are not consistent at all and seem, overall, neglected... just like most of the park. The jumps at keystone, and berms seem to be much more consistent and hit better... Angelfire is miles ahead of winter park if you compare quality and consistency of the flow / jump / features in...

Trestle is already recognized for their manicured jumps, berms, and slopestyle features. I agree with you that it will provide great promotional material, but they already have plenty...I have 3 Trestle banners on my screen right now. I'd like to see them sketch in some proper downhill trails and try to compete with Keystone.

Thanks for the hard work but Hot Wheels is a waste of time and money in my opinion. How long has this trail been in the making? 1 to 2 seasons...It was still closed as of yesterday. Why spent countless man hours and lumber costs in building a trail that maybe 30% of riders will be hitting? The 2013 season has been a huge disappointment when compared to the 2011 and 2012 seasons. Hopefully Trestle can open a new trail for 2013 before the snow starts flying.

It's not that diverse though. Trestle/Search and seizure are the only technical trails there with any type of steepness. (that is easily accessible) I guess winterpark is awesome if you are into jumps and stunts... but they are seriously lacking fun, fast and rocky single track... Trails like no quarter drive me nuts... it doesn't exactly link up well from similar trails... then you have a huge step up to wall ride... and everything else in the trail is TINY, you have to slow way down for all the drops, and the wooden jumps are pointless. I think its cool...

I know what you mean... I had a large scratch. And it was obvious not a full scale DH bike but the feel of the geometry compared to my medium demo is way different. I bet the large will make a huge difference for Gwin. The DEMO is far from broken.
