Has anyone ever actually damaged cables running under the downtube, or is the negative comment about this routing more of a "what if"? Also, if you found it to ride too high in its travel and didn't feel supple on small bumps, it sounds like you could have set up the suspension better, either by dropping pressure or increasing negative air pressure.

The pricing on the cassette seems like a lot to charge for what they're offering. It's easy to see how the XX1 or X01 cassette, machined from a single block of steel, would be expensive. But they're charging just a bit less for what is mostly a conventional cassette that happens to have a few extra teeth. I just don't see the justification for a $313 msrp for this product.

This is cool. I'm surprised it built up so light. I remember seeing Pipelines on the North Shore in Kranked II. Neat to see one still in working order.

Best: - Cannondale Jekyll MX complete bike (turnkey do-it-all package) - Shimano M530 Trail pedals (cheap, durable and minimal weight penalty compared to XT or XTR Trail pedals) - Raceface SIXC handlebar (light and blingy) - Raceface Sniper grips (comfy, and shorter length helped with cockpit arrangement) - Specialized Butcher Control tires (great performance and easy tubeless setup, though sidewalls...

Sweet bike. Did the frame originally have disk brake mounts or was that something you had to jerry-rig?

Good review. Are you sure about the head angle? The geometry chart you quoted is the same as that listed for Jekylls spec'd with Fox 32s which leads me to believe that the angles would be about a degree slacker with the 36. At just slack of 67, that would be in the range of most all-mountain/enduro bikes out there.
