This chromoly steel full-suspension frame was handmade in Peru by Marino. I chose jewel tones and leaned into the playful discovery and toy-like nostalgia that a bike evoked as a kid. Pure fun.
Mad props to Matteo and the other homies at Redding Adventure Hub, my local bike shop in Northern California, for helping me unearth this build into its final form. It brings a smile to my face and I totally dig the vibe.
The geometry sits in the same realm as bikes like the Chromag Reazon and Ibis Ripmo. But this rare find is one of a kind.
The “Gemstone” is a pretty righteous rig. An all-mountain adventure companion for my inner child. I’m stoked to fully unlock this treasure trove of a trail bike on future ride quests.
