Gwin at fontana 2010 #3 series. Was out shooting pix, turned on the video for a few guys...deleting the clips, but figured the vital fans would like a Gwin winter clip. Enjoy.

Paul Sherwin did the commentary. Also, Organizers sold 75,000 tickets to fans for that event, about $12 a ticket if I remember correctly. Leigh Donovan won the womens race that day, some highlights at the beginning of her (long) highlight reel here... http://vimeo.com/24385286

The cat is a dead giveaway on that 'hangin up the boots' Whoever is making these, big props to them, fun stuff. We need some 4X cartoons! Maybe one of Boom Boom smashing the keyboard ;-)

This came out looking rad! Josh, your hater train keeps running strong, keep it up, you are doing great. "Hype and Marketing"...could be perceived as such I guess? but this came about from Vital looking for some Kovarik images, Intense dropped a few to Spomer and he suggested Intense do a flashback piece, simple really. And no, Intense doesn't need much hype, especially since I heard your hatin ass bought an M9! haha

Lopes won the national series DH, in it's hey day, 2 times I think...no easy task. He never won a world cup DH, but his world cup win record in general is unmatched I am pretty sure. Pretty rad an almost 40 yr old dude is still able to make a living racing/riding bicycles and keeps on trying new disciplines...

Don't forget Ryan Hughes in addition to John Tomac...Ryno knows his sh1t, hell he got a 40yr old mom (Leigh Donovan) to be the 1st american at the worlds in 2010! Gwin is the man, hope he continues to inspire a new generation of american kids to get into DH racing. -Even bigger applause for Duncan RIffle, 14th place, solid quali, solid early season results and the top result guy for the Giant team. -USA USA USA. -Intense Cycles backed GR RACING is 3rd place in the team ranking! Graves was a bad a$$ downhiller, still is of course. I tried pretty hard to get him on GT in 04', but we couldn't make it work. He has a very similar DH style to EC in this video.
