Ya its like specialized but thank god they finally changing that old boring lawill kona design, no offense to joe lawill who did good in this race. Kona has been stuck at the design table for soooo long. Try anything just dont add two springs or stay with same old ass design.

buttbongo Added a comment about bike check Banshee Wildcard 2013 (Fluorescent yellow / green )

Nice one and I like the color scheme. Thats not easy getting a wildcard down to 32lbs. My friend has one all coil and feels like a brick 40lbs. Still an awesome bike at any weight, just wish banshee would shave a bit more weight off their frames. I know they going for beefy factor but imagine this bike in the 29lbs range. Every year banshee gets more refined, soon they going to meet my strict weight criteria then I be a banshee owner.

Nice looking fork, decent price, specially if you work in a shop. Would like to see 20mm option and long term thrash test. The axle offset look a bit close compared to marz and RS. Look like manitou circus offset. Great for slow speed but high speed sluggin I dont know. I like my huge offset with the marzocchi 55. There is also no axle to crown info, looks like a typical suntour shortie which means steep HA. Still a nice fork at good price, but until 20mm come fugettaboutits for me. Great tire choice by the tester, extra points!!!!

E.T. Liked a product review Tested: SR Suntour Epicon-X1 LO-RC Fork

Review by Evan Turpen // Photos by Brandon Turman SR Suntour has been making a steady and consistent push into the high-performance suspension market. More recently they’ve introduced many products with a plethora of advanced adjustments and features similar to what can be found on the other leading suspension manufacturers. Our test fork, the EPICON-X1 LO-RC, came with external low-speed compression, rebound, lockout, and air pressure adjustments, as well as internal travel and air volume adjustments. These are all features that are nice to see, especially on an all-mountain/cross-country fork that retails for $599. Additional upgrades to the EPICON-X1 platform...

Shimanos are decent brakes no doubt but lack modulation. Already seen tons of carnage from shimano lockup syndrome. They either death grip or off, no scrubba function like the avids. Maybe avids are better for fast riders who dont brake just scrub speed. Shimanos are for people who need to STOP!!!!!

I agree it looks sooo silly when people run 32 up front and 42 in back with no chainguide haaahaa. I always laughin at those. I guess if you ride in germany in alpenschnizel land maybe it works. Here in the gnarly rock coast that shiz dont fly meng. Put a guide on it.

Nice build, my boy have same exact frame/fork combo and very light. Bb a bit low for my liking but the weight very attractive at sub 5 pound frame. Only thing it needs is built in seat collar bolt like the gt bmx bikes. Think every bike should have that by 2015. Who needs seat clamps??? Just make it internal on the frame with one bolt, done.

Avid brakes have a bad rap these days but truth is they work great and designed in germany xx1. Please, ,,give me german anything except porn. I running xx1 brakes only, not into 11speed gay drive 42 tooth Alp climbing. The xx1 brakes are super strong and worthy of any top level build or race bike. Their also the lightest brakes on the planet. The dot fluid works good in the cold, I go hard in the snow. No hybernating for me. To be honest I ride 3-4 days a week just on that bike with the avid xx1 brakes...

SRAM rep high up in the chain told me X.01 is coming soon. Same 1x11 system, just with a non-hollow carbon crank, and lower level cassette, derailleur and shifter. Should save you some moneys, but lets be real...XX1 isn't thaaaaat expensive for what is in my opinion the best, most versatile, reliable, and efficient mountain group on the market...

They didnt make X7 11 speed because its not the gay version. The 10speed semi gay no problem papi I got a trick for you running my 9 speed. Honestly unless you travel WC circuit the X7 is way more than most riders need. Watch me smoke you mufugas with my X7 bich. XX comes with a two sided dildo and XO one crash from trash.
