I have found and added some old photos. BB height and full compression of 205x65mm shock to show clearance of seat stays bridge to seat tube. This is mullet with 170mm fork, no angle set, 2.5 front and 2.4 rear tire. I hope it helps. Anyway as I still have this frame and some spare parts and I'm going to built this bike again as mullet for my wife

For me Status as I wanted to improve jumps and active riding but it is also smaller (my status is S2 - 437mm reach, reign was 451mm and longer wheel base), but reign gave me more confidence and improved a lot my riding. It took almost half year to beat my reign PR's with status. So depends what you are looking for. I think reign is great and very universal, status more fun orientated.

I can't compare to full 29er as I have built this as mullet. I didn't change shock eye to eye length, just used 205x65mm shock what gives aprox 157mm travel, front 170mm (to rise bb a bit) Head angle was pretty slack, I think 62,5-63 deg. No problems with steering. As I'm rather short, 170cm, I had no issues with uphill performance and bob (150mm dropper fully inserted). BB height rather low, as I remember aprox 335mm so some pedal strikes that’s why 170mm cranks. After some time I have changed shock to coil EXT and that improved this bike...
