any shock you can install on it will remain regressive and terribly tiring to climb long distances ...I have a similar marino frame never again single pivot ...

I’ve been struggling to figure out why I HATE climbing on this thing. Love everything else about the bike but pedalling it is simply soul crushing. I might try a small air can shock on it, or overspringing it and dialing out all the HBO. But I can’t help shake the feeling its just a subpar suspension platform…
