I’ll be surprise if they pull it off. Track is going to be really soft judging by the videos of the rain today that riders are posting

Andorra was the race that had split pits but they were a few minutes apart. For creekside you most likely are looking at the village parking lots or function junction. Neither are great option when you factor in traffic. During the Olympics the general public couldn't drive past Squamish unless you were a resident with a pass or on a...

Would Snowshoe be a good EDR venue though? Sven Martin was speculating on Neethlings podcast that it would be an east coast venue that hosted an enduro race in that past like Burke or Sugarloaf. Not sure what DH at one of those would be like.

If the 1199 trail is going to be used as WC course I don’t see how it work. Creekside is too small to host the pit area and there isn’t really another spot close by.

Whistler has had riders testing the 1199 trail this week. Good looking course but it’s nothing like hardline but looks more like Val di Sole if anything. A few vids up on IG and Carter Krasney posted a top to bottom lap
For those interested and I think I got this right the men's protected riders are Semis Finn Iles, Loris Vergier, Andreas Kolb, Bernard Kerr, Laurie Greenland, Benoit Coulanges, Danny Hart, Greg Minnaar - all protected for semis for the whole season based on last years results Loic Bruni, Jackson Goldstone, Jordan Williams, Luca Shaw, Troy Brosnan,Thibault Daprela, Dak Norton, Charlie...

Staying in August might have been better if they wanted to attract more riders. There is a few national championships plus Hardline in July that will keep some riders busy. Innsbruck was on the way to Val di sole so teams/riders could easily make the stop. Whistler would be a big distribution with travel and time zone changes ahead of...

The commentary and some of the production values was better for Crankworx but i didn't think the camera work/coverage was any better. Got just over 50% of the runs and we missed Jakob Jewett's bronze medal run since started early due to a crash in seeding - which I thought was one of the justification for WC's adding a semi...
