9/10/2026 6:41pm I only ride DH, so rolling efficiency is of no concern to me

9/10/2026 7:21am The magic mary gravity pro's are really, really good... Been running then front & back all year. Noticeable damping difference on A-B laps vs Maxxis and Conti and excellent grip on wet roots (the previous weakness of magic mary's). Haven't tried the Tacky Chan yet, but it's on the list for a rear tire

9/5/2026 8:06pm For me, mallets are the worst by oodles and oodles... The most vague in & out, cleats wear out instantly, need quite a bit of servicing. They were so bad that they were essentially unrideable for me. It's mingboggling how many top dogs use them. I don't understand what I'm missing (or perhaps what they're getting paid?). I'm not sure...

9/3/2026 11:33pm So I did a run today on a large in the stock reach with +5mm chainstay chips and the low & linear setting. It was too small for me for sure, but I could tell it's a pretty dialed bike. Nice neutral riding position, high stack, and smooth, fluttery suspension were my main take aways. It's intuitive to ride and...

9/3/2026 7:23am Thanks! Hilarious that pretty much the only real world discussion on this bike is buried deep in a thread about whistler bike park!

9/1/2026 6:31pm Has anyone spent any time on the 2026 TR11? It's like a desert out there when it comes to reviews... Looking at the XL TR11 as an option to replace my R3 Session (mullet & -1° cups). Mostly riding steep, reasonably fast, technical shuttle trails. I'm a bit under 6'2 so I'm kinda in between sizes. I've bounced around on...

8/27/2026 8:45am It's definitely the Norco

8/27/2026 6:47am Ok you dingleberries. Rather than debating the merit of which way to mullet your rotors, why not just run 220 front and back?

8/4/2026 11:49am I've been waiting on Session frame for warranty replacement since December 2025. Word is that the Session frames were embroiled in this whole forced labour dispute and are therefore stuck sitting in a shipping container in port somewhere. First, Trek said they'd deliver the replacement session in February Then that was delayed to May. Then that was delayed to November...

7/29/2026 8:02am I want to believe, but the schwalbe radial magic mary is just sooooo good

7/26/2026 8:14am It's a barren wasteland for L/XL DH frames right now in Canada. I've given up for the time being, and will just continue riding and monitoring my cracked Session. But I'm very keenly waiting for a couple of imminent releases... Looking at you Norco

7/20/2026 1:27pm Haha damn presumably it's better with the kit installed then... Well that doesn't help me rationalize a $5,000+ purchase. Unless of course Burgtec makes the kits available... I sent them an email to enquire, but I expect you'd need a separate kit and brake adapter for each rear centre setting... hmmm

7/20/2026 9:44am Has anyone (other than Angel Suarez) tried dropping a 27.5" wheel into an XL V10 frame? This set up seems to be working well for Angel, and the geo numbers don't appear to be outrageous? Kolb is doing it too, but he's using a machined piece to bring the rear axle back up to maintain BB & head angle. Angel...

7/8/2026 7:00am Not a big fan of the new costing system. I enjoyed the moneyball aspect of the previous version. Costing has coalesced with pinkbike, albeit with a smaller budget, so feels pretty similar

7/6/2026 3:45pm The New Norco DH bike dropping at Val di Sol is the rumour... I'm keen to get the geo and some more details

6/20/2026 1:10pm Because I've got a fancy 157mm carbon rear wheel from my current build, and I'd rather not have to buy a different hub, spokes, and do a wheel build or drop $1000 on a new wheel.

6/19/2026 8:52pm Lol I will not be buying a Giant. I crack a frame every single season without fail. I need something that is bomber and/or has a solid warranty reputation.

6/19/2026 11:03am The Rage is interesting, but comes out to over $7k CAD with taxes & shipping... The TR11 is up there, but I fall a bit in between sizes (481mm in long vs 501mm in short with -5mm cups) & it's not available until Q4 2026. Also, I do have a fancy wheel so I'd need to factor in the cost...

6/19/2026 9:41am I'd love to try one. Unfortunately this A model is prohibitively expensive... The S model would fit the bill though...

6/19/2026 9:28am I can't go V10 as the XL doesn't allow for a 27.5" rear wheel! Otherwise I probably would have pulled the trigger already!
