This is a very good point. Machine built trails will end up being smooth by design. The alternative is hand-built trails which are difficult and expensive to build. Does anyone know of any good examples of machine built "tech-gnar" trails?

Good a place as any to ask! A friend of mine owns and still rides one of these! But he needs a new shock and nothing exists in that length. It was a coil shock that seem a little longer than that one. Amazing thing is this bike has seen an incredible amount of use and it's actually all the aluminum parts of the frame that are failing and not the thermoplastic tubes.

I wish it could have a secondary air chamber it could use to pump up the main chamber to a much higher pressure if it sensed that bike was in freefall for more than 5 seconds! :D

Concentric BB pivot for such a long travel bike is a deal breaker, for real downhill anyway. For smooth bike park trails and slopestyle stuff it could alright though. But that's a tiny niche, especially with that price. It's so adjustable the bike seems confused. They could have probably saved a ton of weight and money if they did away with the adjustable chainstay. I don't think enough people adjust their chainstays enough to justify it.
