I had a DS1 back in '99 and foolishly sold it... but recently I found a shop with a couple of brand new frames and couldn't resist buying one again.
It all snowballed from there.
The build has been completed with some classic and some modern parts. I've been really lucky to fins some really nice parts on eBay but am still struggling to find an original shorty stem... I did find one in Australia but frustratingly it got lost in the post.

Finding some decent 26" tyres has been quite a chore. I started with some Maxxis Minion DHF's but they proved just a little too wide for the frame... Finally found some Schwalbe's in a good width and although I've never been a fan of skinwalls I think they work quite nicely.

The bike is pretty much finished now but there's still a few perfectionist tweaks I want to do
