Ripping in Durango! Rooted MTB Makes the Dirt Fly in Colorado 2

Want blistering speed shown in the sort of slow-motion that has wheels flexing and the ground flying? Yeah, you do.

Purgatory Resort outside of Durango, Colorado was the perfect place for us to escape, pretend we were at a downhill race and ride a proper track. Despite how capable and fun trail bikes are, nothing compares to a downhill bike when given a good track. The former World Cup track at Purgatory opened back up this summer and was incredible! Full of open grass corners, cool drops and plenty of speed, we were quite entertained.

Wiley styling one of the many drops directly under the lift for everyone's viewing pleasure. It would be so cool to see another race here and get to see most of the track from the lift.

The nearby areas provide plenty of beautiful camp spots.

Sometimes it seems harder and harder to find downhill tracks like this, especially when you're not traveling to a race. We are thankful we got a ton of laps on it. We hope you enjoy the video!
