NOBL Wheels Launches New Signature 36 and 38 Carbon Wheelsets

The NOBL Signature Series is built to cover the full spectrum of mountain biking with two purpose-driven wheelsets: the Signature 36 and the Signature 38. Both feature sub-20 mm rim depths, landing squarely in the sweet spot of ride feel, strength, and weight.

Why as a system?

In short, we already have an incredible, fully custom lineup: NOBL’s Sinewave Series. You can choose your hubs, spokes, nipples, and more—every wheelset is built to order, and this lineup isn’t going anywhere.

The Signature Series fills a different need: quicker lead times with great performance. It’s designed for riders who care less about having the most unique wheelset and more about pure performance. By standardizing key configurations, we’re able to offer significantly faster delivery—something that simply isn’t logistically possible with Sinewave.

Signature wheels are still built in Cumberland, BC for Canadian customers and in Bellingham, Washington for the rest of the world. This format also allows us to keep wheelsets on hand, get wheels to riders faster, and deliver an exceptional performance-to-value ratio with our newly designed rims.

An added benefit: these wheels are easier for local dealers to stock, improving local support and creating a better overall rider experience.

Signature Series Features

Raw Finish: All NOBL rims leave our high-end steel molds with a natural, raw finish without the need for post-production sanding and finishing. Without this abrasion, the carbon fibers remain fully intact and encapsulated in resin, preserving their structural integrity. Producing a paintless carbon rim is more demanding, but the result is a rim that’s not only cleaner in appearance but inherently stronger where it matters most.

Flatline Valves: The Signature series features a raised, flattened valve platform designed specifically for secure valve stem installation. This precise fit keeps the valve firmly in place, reducing movement and minimizing the risk of air leaks.

Lifetime Warranty: If you break your rims while using the product for its intended purpose, we will send you a replacement rim at no charge; you will just pay the cost of shipping.

The Signature 38 delivers a rare mix of category-leading impact strength and tuned compliance, letting you stay committed when the trail gets rowdy. The rims are 17% stronger and 5.5 mm shallower than the previous 38.

Lightweight, efficient, and with a comfortable ride feel, the Signature 36 is designed for the biggest of days, inside and outside the tape. The rims are 14% lighter and 6.5mm shallower than the previous 36, all while maintaining impact resistance. This increased capability allows the Signature 36 to fill a wide range of use cases, with XC weights but the capability of a trail/all-mountain rim.
