Another start gate mess for Canyon after Kiefer in Loudenvielle a few years back.

Coincidence?

weirdest thing. did no one tell him the beam was broken (and/or the run timer was started regardless)? i forget how that worked. maybe they thought it was too dangerous to go down with a locked up chain... at that point seemingly quicker to break the chain outright and get him out quicker but chainless idk

Didn't Luca have a starting gate mishap last year (2025), too?

Pinky? Turned his wheel for the first pedal stroke and it clipped the wall. Did like... A clipped in barrel roll on the ground. Insult to injury being he put down a heater afterwards that could have been the winner without the start gate somersault.

Hopefully the Maydena event is successful  and financially viable

It would be nice to see a series for ssome of the amazing riders who don't regularly qualify for world cup finals

Take Rory kirk and his sick scrubs. He is 22. He doesn't get past the semis, how much longer can he race without a big sponsor? There needs to be a way of keeping exciting talent in the sport.

And a way to keep people like Jack Moir racing . That whole Intense team of him Dean Lucas and Charlie Harrrison are gone from the circuit by the time any of them reached 30

Crankworx really should be making more of an effort to pull bigger riders

They're asking about another one which was Pinky going down. There was actually so much start drama last season uciWB made a lil montage lol

if you thought clipping a wall or slipping a chain was a disaster... try completely ghosting the start! doesnt get any more unexpected than that
