Hi Everyone!
I'm a young college student working towards building my own full suspension mountain bike. The style is that of a modern down country bike, but it's costly. All my money currently is going into the raw material and fabrication process of the frame, but I need more than that so that it can sit on two wheels. I'm reaching out to see if anyone would be kind enough to donate any extra parts they may have laying around. Literally anything helps: Bottom brackets, handlebars, handle grips, brake levers, rotors, headsets, hubs, a front chain ring, pedals, the bolts and bearings for linkages, you get the idea. I don't expect this to have amazing results but it's worth a shot. I'm in the US and willing to cover shipping. Thanks!
Sounds like a cool project, and no doubt that bike parts are stupid expensive. If you're going to get any sort of useful help here, I'd recommend adding the specs of your bike here, i.e. are you looking for a threaded 73mm BSA bottom bracket, a BB30 press fit, a Pressfit BB92 bottom bracket, etc. It would be a bummer if people mailed you parts you couldn't use, and I know I have trouble picking out the right parts for my bike even when I have the bike in hand.

And I'd recommend posting pictures and more info on your project to prove that you're really building a bike, build goodwill, and get people stoked to get involved and donate parts.
This is sweet! College student myself and don't any downcountry parts but excited to see how this bike turns out! Send some pictures of the process if you can!
