In the market for a new bike and thinking of going down slightly in travel from my nomad V6. The new trek fuel mx looks interesting but can’t find much in real world user feedback. I’m a small guy at 5ft 5” so the mullet bikes are perfect for me. Would love to hear any feedback on them.
I bought two on day of release and been riding it since, One alloy 8 and one carbon 9.8(one for my boy but also for me 🤣)
I honestly think they are fantastic, Simple layout, easy to work on, Quiet and they ride awesome.
We both found the progressive setup to be the best for us, The alloy is heavier but man it's ride feel is really nice and I think I prefer it - You can just tell its built tough aswell which has been a frustrating thing for me and alloy bikes as they never seem to last.
Thanks for the feedback, my main concern with it was how durable it would be compared to the likes of a Santa Cruz which has been my go to brand for years. How do you find the sizing on them?
Which is better? Chevy or Ford? Hyundai or Toyota? Pick your brand and be a dick about it. Sold both Trem and Santa Cruz throughout the years and they both have their issues. Find a good dealer that stands behind their products and call it. And I am 5’8” and am a solid medium. At 5’5” I would go small. Ride both first and see what you like?
