I finally found some Rock Shox bearing mount adapters (released with the Vivid) in stock. But checking compatibility, only the Vivids and the Super Deluxe Coil are listed, Super Deluxe Air is not listed.
Anybody checked if this is in fact the reality? Does the 'Vivid' bearing mount really not fit the air shocks? It's not expensive, but it doesn't make much sense to buy some only for them not to fit...
Furthermore, for C1 shocks, there isn't even a damper body with a bearing mount listed in the parts list:

Okay, the damper body from A/B series of shocks fits and you can get a bearing eyelet without an HBO needle from there, but still, seems like a massive oversight to not offer an option for bearings when previously the shock did in fact come with an option? And given the push for the adapters, it makes it even weirder if they don't fit...
They didn’t/dont fit super deluxe.
There’s the bearing option eyelets and damper bodies, but the adapter doesn’t work. I think they’d have to redesign the eyelet and damper bodies to make room for the adapter. Adapter was designed around vivid.
Fox makes an 8x30 that works with minor modification
RWC also has more options than when I was looking a few years ago as well.
Shame it doesn't fit...
Fox and rwc aren't the most inviting options, I'd rather not press in and pull out the cups every 50 hours to do the service... Unscrewing it is a valid opiton that will also make sure the adapters are tight enough.
Looks like I'll have to order the older damper body with the bearing mount and replace it at the 200 hr service... Luckily I don't need HBO.
The bearing ones are available with HBO as well.
