I’m taking the Family to watch the Val Di Sole World Cup, it’s on the 15th of June.
Will be in the area 4-6 nights I was after feedback on the best spots to stay, there are quite a lot of options that are fairly close.
I guess we want good access to the race but also lifted runs, good bike hire, and other activities worth looking into.

they have a nice race track, but anything else? i‘d rather ride on the other side of the mountains in paganella bikepark
Depends on ability level. Val di Sole's other bike park trails are great, as are the loamers off the top gondola. I think 2x bike park days would be plenty. I'd say it's a mountain best enjoyed by expert, seasoned riders though- not so much beginner/intermediate friendly. There are tons of places to stay but there's plenty of relatively affordable accommodation in walk/bike distance of the lifts. Another option, further south- Paganella - has all flavors, from mellow flowtrails to rough DH tracks, and you can stay in the lakeside town of Molveno down a bit from the bike park. Otherwise, if you're super into enduro Canazei is nearby and also worthy of a 2x day stopover with great and more intermediate & trail oriented riding but much more packed by tourists.

Sounds like I’ll love Val Di Sole, and we might have to check out Paganella. It looks like it’s only an hour or less drive from Val Di Sole and well worth a look.
We’ll have maybe a day or so free between Milan and Val Di Sole as well where we can check it out.
It looks like there’s pump track at Val Di Sole, that will keep the young fellas pretty happy.
