Old Norco Mountaineer,on Cantilever Mount rusted off

Saw a rider on same model with brakes mounted on lower rails, and can not find the mounts or style. Is there a specific name?

Appreciate it.

I've never seen an option like that in this case, sometimes there are options to adjusted wheel size but i've never seen anything that works if the mount is damaged. Personally on one of my older frames, i've moved to Sturmey drum brake hubs. The power and modulation is between disks and rim brakes, but they're sealed so they aren't affected by wet conditions, they can't get contaminated and you don't need special mounts. Pretty cheap as well for what you get.

Bonus, you can run proper 2.4/2.5" rubber on older bikes if you have the frame clearance since you can use disk rims.

Never crossed my mind.

I will check out that link.

I appreciate the drum break suggestion, because , I was attempting to formulate a mental vision of a conversion project with the Chinese Rear Electric Power, and just couldnt picture the Rear Drum Break.
