Only decision left to make for my 2011 DH build - Have ran Hayes Stroker Ace the last 2 years and time for a change
I have narrowed it down to the 4 finalists - Any insight here ???? Appreciate it - Power and Modulation are the biggest factors in my decision
I am leaning towards the Formula, With Codes in close 2nd
Please help me reach a decision and the reasoning behind it
2011 Avid Code
2011 Formula "The One"
2011 Saint
2011 Hayes Prime

have you used/felt the brakes you're looking at? one other thing to consider might be replacement/service parts and how easily you can get them.
I've really liked mine - - ran them for two seasons. I don't have personal experience with the Primes but Clayton at Hayes tells me that they are better than the Aces in every aspect and give up nothing to the Aces in not being 4-pots.
Minor Threat - I loved the Aces for about the first year and then I noticed the quality seemed to taper off a bit - Bled them and replaced pads frequently - Last time I had them out in Nov. I was not digging them at all
