Maybe Elliott or somebody has already done the stat analysis... If you average the results of all riders on a Commencal, all the riders on a YT, all the riders on a Trek, what bike would be the fastest. I wonder if the results would change much if you averaged each bike's times vs averaging each bike's finish rank???

Interesting. I voted for Commencal but only because I own one. Grinning

Coming from a motocross background, it's strange to hear something without an engine called "fastest." I suppose it's true that one design has to be "fastest" by default, but I'd bet that bicycles are much more dependent upon their riders to make them "fast" than anything else.

I was gonna vote YT due to Aaron killing it and the huge margins that Valli Holl is making. But it's not on the list. Voted Other.

I vote Commencal. Everyone seems to ride that bike well. Probably still 97% rider. I'd imagine the bikes are all pretty damn good.
