Next weekend on Saturday (14th), I will hosting a downhill race in San Clemente, CA. I have already run 2 races this year and this one is shaping up to blow the others out of the water, with a longer more downhill specific track. I will be running two classes, Pro and Amateur, with the Am class starting mid way up the ridiculously steep upper Pro course.
In the last few races we have had 13 competitors in Am and 8 or so in Pro. The pro class has some tough competition, with current second overall Fontana Junior Expert rider Ryan Paquette, Current overall Expert leader Brian White, and last race runner up, the Fontucky bad boy Cody Johnson. For this race I may compete and have a neutral party take over timing.
So if you like to race downhill but don't want to spend all the money driving to Riverside and ski resorts come down to Portico Del Sur, Bottom of the weed covered hill San Clemente, CA , race entry is just $1, so please come out to help out the local riding scene.
