Can anyone make some suggestions for DH bars with a comfy sweep, preferably with a low rise and width of at least 710mm and a stem to go with it of around a 50-60mm length. I'm not fussed if they're from different manufacturers. I've got an Easton Havoc bar and stem combo on my DJ bike which seem like they have a comfy back (9°) and upsweep (5°) but I was surprised at how flexy they seemed when I first got them. Not something I've really noticed when riding them, to be honest - more when you've got the wheel between your knees and you're trying to flex them.
Race Face do a bar with a 1/2" rise on them that I've seen, but other than that I'm in dark as to low rise DH bars.
Throw me a bone!
Cheers

I just barely switched over to those new monster 31 inch Race Face low rise Atlas FR Huckerboy Northshore Extreme I Wanna Be Josh Bender But I'm Waaaay Too Freakin' Tall bars in the low rise option. And they are low. So low, they mock flat bars. I have to say they're a bit more comfortable on my wrists than the Sunline's. I loved the width, but had to cut a half an inch off each side as they were just too wide for trails around here. Seems everything was cut by a group of guys on fixies with 5 inch wide bars...I swear.... Plus they come in twice as many Skittles colors as even the Sunlines. So you can really make your bike look like crap.
Have to say my all time favorites as far as comfort goes were a pair of Funn Fat Boys. Came stock on my Sunday and were uber comfortable. As I get older and my wrists get worked from jerkin' it all day long, I may head back to those.
Stems: Really love the Sunline's. Both the DH and All Mountain versions. Plus they come in sizes that some companies don't make like 60 and 80mm's rather than the standard 50 and 90 stuff. Now they're available in black.
Apply for a grassroots sponsorship-they practically give them away-and get it all at a discount.
Cheers guys.
