Chasing The Trail: Indonesia | Riding An Active Volcano
What happens when you take world-class athletes and their bikes to an active volcano that has never been ridden before? You get an adventure like no other. Join freeride legend Darren “The Claw” Berrecloth and fellow Canadians Georgia Astle, a professional freerider and runner-up at the inaugural women’s Red Bull Rampage, and Ashleigh McIvor, Olympic gold medal-winning skicross athlete and MTB enthusiast, on this expedition into the unknown.
Their destination? Sangeang Volcano, Indonesia - a raw, untouched, and completely unridden landscape that last erupted in 2018.

"Filming in Bali is an absolute dream. The lush landscapes, beautiful oceans and vast wildlife on land or sea makes it surreal in comparison to most landscapes on this planet. To incorporate bikes, ripping trails and an unridden volcano really just put the cherry on top. Unreal experience with some unreal humans that I'll never forget." - Darren Berrecloth

From dense jungle to exposed ridgelines of volcanic ash, the team pushes the limits of what’s possible on two wheels. This is more than just a mountain bike trip, it’s a test of endurance, skill, and the pursuit of the ultimate ride.
