• An updated chassis and significant increase in bushing overlap adds 20% torsional stiffness over the previous 36
• Approaches the steering responsiveness of the 38 without the weight
• Redesigned compliant FLOAT Glidecore air spring makes it considerably smoother throughout its travel
• The new 36 arch wraps around the lowers to increase torsional stiffness
• Decoupling the stanchion from the air shaft allows the piston to move while under bending loads
• More bushing overlap, an additional 30mm over the previous 36, for a smoother-feeling fork and added fore-aft stiffness
• Relocated inboard bypass channels help curb pressure ramping for increased small bump sensitivity
• New low-profile bleeders allow pressure to escape around your finger as you press the bleeder button
• The air spring top cap uses a Shimano cassette tool for easy volume adjustments
• GRIP X2 damper has larger valve stack than previous GRIP2 (23 shims vs. 7 shims), for more consistent damping throughout travel, a more sensitive initial stroke, and good support without feeling harsh
• GRIP X2 damper has 24mm base valve (vs. 20mm on GRIP2), which lowers positive pressure for faster response time
• Floating thru-axle allows perfect chassis alignment and reduces unwanted friction between the upper and lower fork legs, providing much smoother suspension movement throughout the entire range of travel
• A mudguard mounts to seal flanges and arch instead of bleeder ports for durability and seal protection
