Outstanding grip and comfort

Rating:
The Good:

shock absorbing, comfortable, works in all weather conditions, excellent grip

The Bad:

durability in a crash, not easy to remove and reinstall vs lock on grips

Overall Review:

I first started using ESI Racers Edge grips living in a resort town riding bike park 3 to 4 times a week.  The silicone construction significantly reduces hand fatigue versus lock-on grips.   Without a plastic sleeve this grip is softer and feels better than .   One side of the Racers Edge grip is thicker and is designed to face your palm for added cushioning.    Installation is not as fast as lock-ons but not difficult to install.    So what's bad?  Durability can be an issue in crashes since the silicone is susceptible to tears and gouges.   For trail riding, I highly recommend the Racer's Edge grips to riders looking for comfort, grip and prefer a thin grip.
