Overall Review:

SRAMGX Eagle 12-Speed Chain

This is my first 12 speed chain after moving up from the good ole’ 10 speed setup. This is the more cost efficient chain from SRAM and comes in at about $30, or about half of what the version X01 comes in at. This one weighs in at 258g at 114 links and comes with a Powerlock reusable link.

I have around a few hundred miles on this chain so far. It is grouped with a SRAM GX Eagle Cassette and SRAM 34t chain ring. After a small bit of cable stretch all I have had to do so far is adjust the cable tension a smidge. Shifts have been quiet and smooth with no drama. Shifting is for sure better than any 10 speed set-up that I have ran in the past. I feel like it can be hard to write a review on a chain, this one does what it is supposed to. As long as it lasts a good time before it gets stretched out, than we have a winner within the budget chain category.
