The Mavic Deemax Pro shoe was developed with the help of Fabien Barel. He wanted a sturdier lacing system and does not like a BOA system, so a true lace and strap shoe was created. The 180EU shoe features a sturdy, grippy outsole, and weights are around 475g depending on size.
The Mavic Deemax Elite shoe is a more affordable shoe at 140EU, features quick lacing, a lace cover hovers in the 445g range.
