I'm a photo newbie thinking of getting into it. What's technically wrong with this shot? Natural light, active angle, no fuzzy stuff in the foreground. School me. Sven?

Well I was being a bit harsh there, but the shot is a bit blurry throughout. Maybe a result of a small-ish aperture to deal with the sun, which results in a somewhat slower shutter and produced just a little motion blur. Or it could be a focus issue. And if you were nitpicking, the compo struggles to keep the sun in the shot, leaving it very close to the edge. But as I also said in the caption, that's a bunch of theoretical BS that goes out the window when a shot delivers a story and a feeling like this one does. I absolutely love the action, the colors, and those wonderful shapes in the dust cloud. Another rad shot from Claudio!
